Event Details:
<FONT class=text>The Connecticut Development Authority (CDA), a member of the state’s economic development team, will meet with area small business owners and other participating organizations for a new business outreach program launched by Governor M. Jodi Rell. These informational sessions, billed as the “Connecticut Business Connection,” are aimed at informing small business owners about the various programs and public resources that are available, such as financing programs, tax credits, work force development, government contracting and production efficiencies. Among the many organizations joining the Connecticut Development Authority will be the Department of Economic and Community Development, Connecticut Innovations, CONNSTEP, the Procurement Technical Assistance Program, and various Regional Revolving Loan Funds. These regional business connection sessions are being developed in partnership with chambers of commerce across the state. </FONT>
