Norse, Inc. is a 27 year old manufacturer of latch fasteners for various industries. Norse products are commonly used in commercial and residential siding and hinged doors, and they also manufacture latches for electronic enclosures for the aerospace industry. Over 98 percent of the company’s products are exported.
The company recently designed, developed, and began manufacturing a new product line. The direct loan from the CDA will assist Norse with the purchase of machinery and equipment related to the production of these new products and will also fund upgrades that will help the company operate more efficiently.
Norse is currently staffed by 8 full-time employees and expects to more than double in size as they move forward with their new product line.
