Brownfields 2013 Conference - Wednesday, May 15, 2013

The 15th National Brownfields Conference is headed to Atlanta, Georgia on May 15–17, 2013. The Conference, cosponsored by U.S. EPA, is the largest and most comprehensive event in the nation that focuses on issues important to community revitalization and the assessment, cleanup and redevelopment of contaminated properties.

Brownfields 2013 will offer a diverse set of educational opportunities including, but not limited to, panel sessions, marketplace roundtables, mobile workshops, film screenings, plenary events, an exhibit hall and a redevelopment forum. About NSCW

Now in its fourth year, this event has sold out the three previous years, two in Newark and last year in Bridgeport, CT. Started by a varied, regional group of environmental professionals, its vision is a lively, intense exchange of ideas regarding sustainability and brownfields. NCSW has become a community. The event is as affordable as possible with significant participation from neighborhoods as well as professionals. The networking and NSCW job board have helped a number of participants find employment. Last year's conference featured Connecticut's then new environmental and energy commissioner, and the first questions asked about brownfields liability were one small step towards new legislation that passed a few months later. So please join us in Midtown New York City on June 7 for what promises to be an extraordinary event.
